TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RILEY, ST CLAIR COUNTY, MICHIGAN, AND ALL OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held at the regular meeting of the Riley Township Planning Commission on September 18, 2023 at 7 p.m. located at Riley Township Hall, 13016 Belle River Road, Riley, MI 48041.
The purpose of this hearing is TO ACCEPT COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC on proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance 33, Article IX, Section 925. Small Personal Scale Solar and Utility Scale Solar Energy Facilities.
The proposed ZONING ORDINANCE will be available for examination at the Township office located at 13042 Belle River Road during regular business hours on regular business days. The Riley Township Zoning Ordinance and zoning maps are available for examination online at any time located at rileytownship.com.
Comments from the public are welcomed either in person or in writing. For orderly public participation during the public meeting, a person wishing to speak must state their name and be recognized by the Chairperson. Written comments from the public can be sent to Riley Township office located at 13042 Belle River Road, Riley, MI 48041, or by fax to (810) 392-2918, or by email to PC@rileytownship.com prior to the above scheduled meeting date.
Riley Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services at the meeting to individuals with disabilities upon advanced notice by contacting the Township office at (810) 392-2326 during regular business hours on regular business days prior to the above meeting date.
This notice is pursuant to the requirements of the Riley Township Zoning Ordinance and the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act PA 110 of 2006 as amended.
