Zoning Board of Appeals

Picture of Zoning Meeting

The Zoning Board of Appeals (or ZBA) has two main duties:

1) To hear and decide appeals of administrative decisions made in implementing the zoning ordinances of the township, and

2) To hear and decide requests for variances from the strict terms of the zoning ordinances that have been put in place.

In addition to these duties, the ZBA is occasionally called upon to interpret the provisions of the zoning ordinance.

Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 7pm on an “as needed” basis.
