Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals or ZBA as it is commonly referred to as, has two main duties: To hear and decide appeals of administrative decisions made in implementing the zoning ordinances of the township and to hear and decide requests for variances from the strict terms of the zoning ordinances that have been put in place. In addition to these duties, the ZBA is occasionally called upon to interpret the provisions of the zoning ordinance.
Zoning Board of Appeals Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 7pm on an “as needed” basis. The tentative meeting dates are listed below. Anyone wishing to petition the ZBA for a variance must have all required information submitted 28 days before the desired meeting date. Please contact our office for more information.
